One of the more luxurious hotel in Puerto Princesa, the Best Western Plus the Ivywall Hotel finally re-opens as tourism slowly picks up steam. Dubbed by many as a four-star hotel, the 120-room capacity hotel formally kick off its operations by a formal ribbon cutting ceremony last March 29 at its grand lobby attended by the veritable who’s who of Palawan politics.

Danilo Tamayo, Best Western Manager Rene Suarez and Mrs. Cynthia Tamayo. Literally the bastion of Palawan political landscape.

Prior to the ribbon cutting, a mass was officiated at its luxury ballroom which was officiated by Father Eugene Elivera brings the good vibes from up above.

Everyone was optimistic during the speech time that the re-opening will augur well for the hospitality industry with the increase in the available rooms in the city, the jobs added, the taxes that will be generated and the overall increase in economic activity.
