Palaweños are a bunch of talented and smart people. This is evidenced by the recent bar examinations which saw 22 out of 24 examinees who were able to pass and gained their right to be members of the law profession in the just announced results of the 2020-21 Bar Examination.
And Attorneys they have become and have acquired the right to practice the noble profession of defending truth and justice, that is depending on how you view lawyers or what they do. It is somewhat of a jumping board for people who will become greats in society as they provide them a higher chance to rise to prominence into public service and even to politics.
All the 22 new Attorneys came from the Palawan State University which is the only school in the province to offer Bachelor of Laws. The institution is a source of pride for Palaweños producing top notch or top caliber professionals. It is noteworthy that PSU has garnered a higher passing percentage of 92% than the national passing percentage of 72% and a few of the examinees making it to the list of takers with exemplary performance.
