Things are roaring back to what they are used to be or so it seems. Take Eat-All-U-Can-Buffet type Restaurants which are taking a comeback with a vengeance. And the locals are taking it personal with fervor and gusto.

Cabalen Restaurant closed during the pandemic and just recently re-opened its doors. But with the onslaught of buffet restaurants, the weekend crowd at Cabalen is enough for us to conclude that people are out and about after years of confinement.

The usual food Cabalen taste and dishes all displayed and promptly replenished.

Mostly Filipino food as well as Asian dishes from fish, meat and vegetables selections.

Desserts and sweets always available to serve our sweet tooth.

Salads and vegetables are always present for the diet-conscious.

There is no indication of inflation or economic slowdown or the kind. Pandemic looks like a thing of the past but we are still constantly reminded when somebody taps our shoulders to wear our mask while picking up the unlimited food.

Cabalen is at the 1st Level of SM City Puerto Princesa which charge P378 during weekdays and P398 during weekends & holidays. Price is reasonable for the array of selections so head on there and feast at Cabalen.
